When can I skate??
You can skate at the Toyota Arena during practice ice sessions for $10/session. Skaters over 50 years of age can also skate at the Toyota Arena for $5 per session. Figure skating is not allowed during Toyota Arena Public Skate sessions. Find the arena schedule here.
How do I start group lessons?
Register for group lessons with the Toyota Arena Skating School. Lessons are held Monday and Thursday evening from 5:45-6:45. Lessons include Arena rental skates. Extra practice time on Arena public and practice ice will help you improve faster, see the schedule here.

How do I start private lessons??
Whether you skip or graduate from group lessons, the coaches listed on this website are certified by United States Figure Skating (USFS) to teach private figure skating lessons. Contact one of them and arrange a lesson time on Arena practice ice.
Lesson fees vary per coach, but on average they run $1/minute (so a 30min lesson would be $30), payable directly to the coach. This coaching fee does NOT include the additional $10 arena session fee for the lesson.
Instructors are certified by USFS complete annual continuing education courses, they carry instructor's insurance, and they complete Safesport training.
Can I Compete in Figure Skating??
Yes! The TCFSC hosts one competition each year, usually in the Spring or Summer. Look for updates on our website and tell your coach you're interested in competing. Your first competition will be a "Compete USA" competition. The USFS chart of competitive levels is here.
